Biography:	Francis and the Drakes are here! A band of proud Plymothians playing acoustic harmonious ramshakle and roll! Songwriters Steve Gribble and Dave Ankers have joined forces by writing and performing music which is best consumed whilst drinking and enjoying yourself! What started as the coming together of 2 solo projects is becoming an ever growing band of friends with a kindred spirit for making good time music. Influenced by the city's close connections with the Sea - there are some common themes in the songs but the root of all the material in in playing real, raw, energetic, honest, from the guts rants, shanties and rambles. We will be playing throughout the summer so keep coming back for gig updates.
