U.S. Women's National Hockey Team

The reigning world champion U.S. Women's National Team just captured the Four Nations Cup championship and will next look to defend its world title in Finland this coming spring. Meanwhile, the post-college players are stationed in Blaine, Minn., for a residency program set up by USA Hockey during the 2008-09 season. They're playing games against the WCHA women's teams, local boys' teams and men's league teams, as well as the professional women's hockey team in Minnesota - the Whitecaps! They're based at the Schwan Super Rink and will be doing promotional events in and around the twin cities all season. GO USA!

USA Hockey recently named Qwest Communications as the title sponsor of the Qwest Tour, which will feature the 2009-10 U.S. Women's National Team playing 10 games throughout the United States in preparation for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
