Another random fact about dots/tittles is that the Turkish alphabet has two i's - one with a tittle (both lower and upper case) and one without. Which makes typing anything (like passwords) on a Turkish keyboard a pain in the backside.

Hi Jud,

I like your inquisitiveness. Personally i think we should all tittle our i's, so to not get mistaken by 'l's, as with crossing out 't's.. I'm wondering whether we too should get out more (into the sun!) At least we both chose good weather for it.

Does that mean we should be tittling our 'i' s?

On a related note, has anyone every met someone who claims to be just too busy to tittle an i? So why is dotting the i s and crossing the t s such a big deal?

I need to get out more.

Have a great summer of reading!

IVP's random fact of the day, (drum roll please)

The dot over a letter 'I' is called a tittle.

I bet you didn't know that!
