I appreciate the integrity of the designers of the Bright Idea Shade to distribute the plans and instructions free, in the spirit of openness, and also in the spirit of avoiding contributing to the morass of manufactured "stuff" piled on big box shelves. Homemade objects rule.

now you have to forward it on to everyone so that it will make its way to someone at Target, or Ikea, or WalMart and you *will* be able to buy them retail.
